LVN Licensed Vocational Nurse

Star Nursing is seeking LVNs for urgent

• Location: Denton. TX
• Facility: SSLC
• Shifts Available:
  • 8hr, 40hrs/week, must be flexible w/weekend

• Travel: ($15/hr taxed + $1160/wk tax-free travel stipend) 1760/40 hrs.
• Must be 50 miles away from permanent residence to qualify for housing/housing allowance

• Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician supervision
• Monitor and document vital signs
• Observe and report changes in patient conditions
• Assist with wound care, dressing changes, and other medical treatments
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions
• Assist patients with mobility and personal hygiene tasks
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and infection control protocols

• Resume with long-term care experience
• Active LPN license
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Skills checklist
• 1-2 recent supervisor references

• Physical and PPD (within the last 12 months)
• MMR, Varicella, Hep B (or decline)
• Tdap/Flu (or decline)
• COVID negative test (current)
• LGBT Training Certification
• Background check and urine drug screen
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card
