You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations.

• Determine donor eligibility to donate plasma, including proper management of informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self‑exclusion, medical history interview and acceptance requirements, physical examination, blood testing, and review of Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
• Manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable test results.
• Evaluate donor reactions as outlined in SOPs; follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies, develop Center Physician’s standing orders, and arrange donor transport to emergency care facilities.
• Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs when receiving unacceptable findings or requiring guidance concerning medical or technical issues.
• Support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER; refer to EHS guidance.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations associated with pandemic threats within the local community.

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in a recognized nursing program with state requirements.
• Currently licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned:
  Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Successfully complete FDA‑approved training requirements for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• Minimum two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

Hourly wage range: $33.44 - $45.98 USD, plus potential short‑term incentives and eligibility for medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and other benefits.
