This role places you at the heart of a leading acute care facility, where you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to excellence in cardiovascular, day surgery, and advanced surgical services. Working in such a reputable center allows you to expand your clinical repertoire, learn a spectrum of operating room and day surgery protocols, and benefit from exposure to distinguished leadership styles-all invaluable additions to your professional journey.

Schedule/Hours:
  • Variable shifts
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • Weekend and on-call responsibilities (details during interview)
Qualifications:
  • Active Texas RN license (no temporary licenses)
  • Minimum 2 years recent experience in an OR or day surgery setting
  • Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS
  • Experience with Meditech (preferred)
  • Clinical expertise across adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations
  • Strong focus on excellent patient experience and communication
Core Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for cardiovascular, orthopedic, spine, general, gyn, robotic, and vascular surgeries
  • Provide compassionate perioperative care and clear communication with patients and families
  • Adhere strictly to infection control, documentation, and day surgery protocols
  • Float to units as needed per policy
