Infusion RN Sr.- PRN- Denton

Texas Oncology is looking for an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position will support our Denton locations. This is a PRN (As Needed) position, typical hours are Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑5 pm, with no weekends, calls or major holidays. This position will be Level 1, 2, or Senior based on candidate experience.

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care as per standards.
• Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and instructional materials.
• Prepare and administer therapies under physician direction.
• Administer all medications/blood products accurately.
• Ensure pre‑authorization and consent forms are obtained.
• Facilitate dose modifications by assessing labs, consulting protocols, calculating dose, and consulting physician.
• Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central line catheter devices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatments.
• Apply knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture.

• Level I:
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred.
  • Hold RN state license.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Maintain continuing education.
  • 0–3 years nursing experience, oncology experience preferred.
• Level II:
  • Minimum 3 years nursing experience, oncology experience preferred.
• Level Senior:
  • Minimum 5 years nursing experience, at least one year in oncology preferred.
  • Oncology certification preferred.
