Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)

Denton, TX

Contract | Night Shift, 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency room setting seeing 135+ patients per day
• Manage a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio within a 41-bed unit
• Care for a diverse patient population including Stroke, ACS, Diabetic, and AKD cases
• Fulfill weekend shift requirements of 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within an accredited Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center with 24/7 Cath Lab access

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) required
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required upon extension

• Prior trauma nursing experience highly preferred
• Experience working in a facility actively pursuing Level 3 Trauma designation or similar high-acuity environment
• Familiarity with Level 3 NICU protocols and chest pain/stroke care pathways
