Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

Denton, TX

Contract | Night Shift, 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department seeing 135+ patients per day
• Manage a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio within a 41-bed unit
• Care for a diverse patient population including Stroke, ACS, Diabetic, and AKD presentations
• Fulfill weekend shift requirements of 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
• Support facility operations aligned with Primary Stroke Center and Accredited Chest Pain Center standards

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) required
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required upon extension

• Prior trauma nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience working in a high-acuity emergency department environment
• Familiarity with Chest Pain Center protocols and Cath Lab support workflows

• Work within a facility actively pursuing Level 3 Trauma designation, offering a dynamic and growing clinical environment
• Gain experience across a broad range of high-acuity specialties including stroke care, cardiac care, and neonatal services
