RN Registered Nurse , Rotating Weekends

Responsibilities

36‑hour week, full benefits, day shift 7 am‑7:30 pm with rotating weekends.

The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional nurse who prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practice.

• Ensure that all staff members deliver care in accordance with the Standards of Care and Practice.
• Maintain compliance with the Joint Commission, state, and regulatory standards, and patient rights standards.
• Ensure Infection Control, Safety, and Risk Management policies and procedures are consistently implemented.
• Document patient information and nursing care in the provision of nursing services.

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility preferred.
• Currently licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing.
• Must pass a medication administration exam prior to administering medications.
• CPR certification and successful completion of Handle With Care, Verbal De‑escalation, restraint, and seclusion policies within 30 days of employment.
