Responsibilities
36‑hour week, full benefits, day shift 7 am‑7:30 pm with rotating weekends.
Position SummaryThe Registered Nurse is a licensed professional nurse who prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practice.
Job Duties / Responsibilities- Ensure that all staff members deliver care in accordance with the Standards of Care and Practice.
- Maintain compliance with the Joint Commission, state, and regulatory standards, and patient rights standards.
- Ensure Infection Control, Safety, and Risk Management policies and procedures are consistently implemented.
- Document patient information and nursing care in the provision of nursing services.

- Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility preferred.
- Currently licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing.
- Must pass a medication administration exam prior to administering medications.
- CPR certification and successful completion of Handle With Care, Verbal De‑escalation, restraint, and seclusion policies within 30 days of employment.
