Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ED) - Full-Time Mid Shift

Registered Nurse (RN) – Mid Shift, Emergency Department (ED) Unit

Location:

Texas Health Denton, 3000 N I-35, Denton, TX 76201.

Work hours:

Full‑time, Mid Shift, 36 hours weekly, 3‑12 hour shifts, 3:00 pm – 3:00 am.

Sign‑on bonus for eligible new hires.

Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
  • CLIAFE compliance required for foreign education equivalency.
  • RN license upon hire.
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support before independent patient care; maintain quarterly.
  • ACLS within 90 days of hire.
  • CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program.
  • 2–3 years of ER experience preferred.
  • ENPC – Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course – 12 months required.
  • TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course – 12 months required.
  • PALS within 90 days of hire.
Responsibilities
  • Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process: assess, plan, intervene, evaluate, and incorporate safety/infection control.
  • Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others’ need for information.
  • Maintains continuity of patient care inter‑shift, inter‑hospital, and during out‑of‑hospital transfers.
