Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) positions are available in North Dallas, Texas. RN Pay: $33‑$38 per hour. LVN Pay: $25‑$28 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the organization in a competent, professional and responsive manner while maintaining high‑quality patient and customer service standards.
  • Provide care that is based on licensure/certification within scope of practice.
  • Perform admission, transfer, re‑certification, resumption of care, and discharge paperwork as assigned.
  • Maintain an updated clinical record on each patient at all times.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing services to the patient and family on an ongoing basis.
  • Consult with physicians concerning alterations of patient care plans and report all changes to nurse supervisor.
  • Support FFHC's mission by mentoring and/or coaching new employees during patient‑specific orientations.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on topics related to patients' care needs.
  • Supervise LPNs and aides in the home as assigned.
  • Participate in FFHC Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program as requested.
  • Attend and complete all mandatory training and in‑services as assigned.
  • Submit required personnel file documentation in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to FFHC compliance and ethics expectations.
  • Maintain patient and family confidentiality.
  • Maintain professional, supportive, and responsive interpersonal communication skills.
  • Assess physical, functional, psychosocial, and cognitive status of the home‑care patient using interview, observation, and physical exam techniques.
  • Assess the home environment for safety and infection control.
  • Incorporate multidisciplinary data into the nursing assessment of the home‑care patient.
  • Provide ongoing nursing assessment to determine physiologic or psychosocial risk.
  • Apply previous nursing experience and adapt with the patient and family in a home setting.
  • Assess for presence of advanced directives and facilitate obtaining or implementing them if indicated.
  • Participate in committees and meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Role Qualifications
  • RN Nursing degree.
  • Unencumbered RN license in the state of employment or multi‑state license under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact where recognized.
  • Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience.
  • Valid driver license with proof of insurance in applicable states.
  • Clear background screening.
  • Working knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts.
  • Valid and current CPR card/certificate with in‑person instructor‑led hands‑on skills check.
  • Clear Hep B and TB screening as required per state.
State Specific Requirements
  • Florida: driver license not required;
    Hep B screening not required; completed as part of onboarding.
  • Illinois: driver license not required.
  • Pennsylvania: additional background screening (child abuse and FBI check); TB screening with 2‑step PPD or 1‑step PPD with proof of 2‑step PPD within last year.
  • Texas: no additional state‑specific requirements.
