Registered Nurse (RN II) – Cardiovascular Care Unit (Full Time/Nights)

Work hours:

Full Time (36 Hour) Night Shift; 7P-7A x3 shifts per week with rotating holidays and weekends

• All age ranges – Cardiac issues, heart failure
• 31‑bed cardiac unit
• Nurse‑to‑patient ratio is 1:4
• Patient population includes post‑open heart (CABG), post‑PCI, arrhythmia issues, administration of cardiac drips (all rooms have bedside monitors)
• High morale with lots of tenure on the unit

• Nursing Diploma (nursing) required or
• Associate’s Degree Nursing required or
• Bachelor’s Degree Nursing preferred

• 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program is required
• 2+ years of nursing experience is preferred

• RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
• NIHSS – National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 90 days required
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required
• CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 days required
