Work hours:
Full Time (36 Hour) Night Shift; 7P-7A x3 shifts per week with rotating holidays and weekends Department Highlights:
All age ranges
- Cardiac issues, heart failure 31 bed cardiac unit Nurse to patient ratio is 1:4 Patient population includes post open heart (CABG), post PCI, arrythmia issues, administration of cardiac drips (all rooms have bedside monitors) High morale with lots of tenure on the unit
Here's What You Need Education Nursing Diploma (nursing) required Or Associate's Degree Nursing required Or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred Experience 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program is required 2+ years of nursing experience is preferred Licenses and Certifications RN
- Registered Nurse upon hire required And BCLS
- Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required And NIHSS
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 90 days required And ACLS
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required And CPI
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 days required
