Explore Denton, TXTwo universities give Denton, TX its pulse, and the music scene they feed has made the town's courthouse square one of North Texas's genuine cultural centers. The local hospital market serves the rapidly filling top of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro. Emergency and telemetry units keep travel nurses in rotation here. Housing tracks the student calendar and loosens each summer. The Arts and Jazz Festival takes over each spring, and live music runs most nights of the week somewhere downtown.
Both Dallas and Fort Worth sit about forty minutes south, putting two full metros and their contract boards in range while home base stays a college town.
