Work hours: Full Time (36 Hour) Night Shift

Department Highlights
  • All age ranges
    - Cardiac issues, heart failure
  • 31 bed cardiac unit
  • Nurse to patient ratio is 1:4
  • Patient population includes post open heart (CABG), post PCI, arrythmia issues, administration of cardiac drips (all rooms have bedside monitors)
  • High morale with lots of tenure on the unit
Here’s What You Need

Education

  • Nursing Diploma (nursing) required Or
  • Associate's Degree Nursing required Or
  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Experience

  • 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program is required
  • 2+ years of nursing experience is preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • RN
    - Registered Nurse upon hire required And
  • BCLS
    - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required And
  • NIHSS
    - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 90 days required And
  • ACLS
    - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required And
  • CPI
    - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 days required
