The Chemistry Department is seeking a research assistant to work in the lab of Dr. Paul Marshall. Research areas include chlorine and hydroxyl reactions with halogenated compounds in the gas phase, using an infrared apparatus.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Training with lab safety and laboratory experience in a research context.

• Ability to work individually or collaboratively.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively.
• Knowledge of lab safety procedures.
• Experience with laboratory research.

• Participate in weekly meetings.
• Assist Principal Investigator (PI), post doctoral scientists, and graduate researchers in lab.

Communicating with others to exchange information.

No adverse environmental conditions expected.
