UNT Eagle Landing - Hourly Dining Associate
Position OverviewUniversity of North Texas Dining Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hourly Dining Associate to join the team at UNT Eagle Landing Dining Team. In this role, you will help create a welcoming dining experience for our residents by assisting with meal service and ensuring a clean and comfortable environment. Responsibilities may include setting tables, packaging, prepping, and serving meals, and assisting with other dining needs.
Job Duties- Assist in preparation of high-quality items each meal service, including daily prepared items.
- Apply proper care and use of food service equipment and kitchen utensils, understand health hazards related to food preparation and service, and observe necessary precautionary measures, including safety and security protocols.
- Follow standardized processes to minimize turnaround time and maintain a consistent supply of cleaned and sanitized dishes.
- Assist with additional dining duties as assigned.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (or willingness to learn).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
