Walters Wedding Estates, a Walters Hospitality brand, is actively seeking professional, self‑motivated, skilled cake decorators/bakery assistants to create dream wedding cakes for our Brides in a fun working environment. This person can adapt and learn quickly.

This is a part‑time position only. This employee will be scheduled when needed and schedule fluctuates in line with how busy wedding season gets. There will be weeks where you may not be needed during slow periods. Normal bakery operating hours are 9:30 am-6 pm. Weekend availability required for deliveries – must have clean driving record and be able to carry 50 lbs.

  Minimum 1 year of cake decorating experience

  Serv Safe Food Handlers or equivalent

• Responsible for baking cakes, desserts and cake decorating.
• Must be familiar with basic textures such as stone, horizontal, stucco, wedding dots and palette.
• Must have a working knowledge of food coloring, fondant, edible images, and cake design.
