Position Summary
Do you like to work on your feet and keep things neat and organized? Our merchandising & stocking associates connect all of the dots to make sure members can find everything they need on their shopping list. The job may include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, or helping members while stocking shelves in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide member service by identifying member needs and assisting with purchasing decisions.
- Maintain safety of the facility, conduct safety sweeps, follow forklift spotting and hazardous material procedures, and report unsafe situations.
- Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation: zone the area, stock, arrange, and organize merchandise, set up displays, sign and price merchandise, and remove damaged goods.
- Monitor food and merchandise quality, ensuring product rotation, code dating, recalls, sanitation standards, and promotional displays.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, using the Open Door Policy and related action plans.
- Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers and co‑workers, determining priorities, and communicating progress.
- Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging orders throughout the day and ensuring products are selected and staged according to policy.
- Promptly unload trucks, assist fellow associates as needed, sort and stock products, engage with vendors and drivers positively, and maintain a clean, member‑ready area.
The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
