AboutThe Role
As an Experience Coordinator, you are the first impression of our studio and the key to creating an exceptional member experience. This is not a traditional sales role — it’s a mix of hospitality, community‑building, and guiding people toward their health goals. You will be the go‑to person who ensures every guest feels welcomed, supported, and excited to begin (or continue) their Pilates journey.
The Experience Coordinator assists the Experience Manager with new membership sales by bringing new members to the studio and booking them into Intro Classes. The Experience Coordinator also assists with retaining current members. Pilates fitness knowledge or background is preferred but not required.
- Welcome & connect: greet every guest with warmth and professionalism.
- Guide the experience: learn each guest’s goals, curate their first visit, and recommend membership options.
- Drive studio growth: help prospects commit to pilates journey through memberships and intro offers.
- Support members: celebrate progress, answer questions, and keep members motivated.
- Keep studio running smoothly: assist with scheduling, class bookings, merchandise sales, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Execute sales process of lead generation, follow up, and close.
- Conduct tours of the facility while establishing relationships and identifying needs.
- Maintain acceptable level of personal sales production.
- Emphasize club objectives as a fitness and wellness provider.
- Present available services to current or prospective members.
- Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota.
- Participate in special events to promote the club.
- Assume responsibility for developing selling skills.
- A positive, energetic personality who loves connecting with people.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
- Goal‑oriented mindset comfortable guiding guests toward a decision.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment.
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or fitness (preferred).
- Excellent sales, communication, and customer‑service skills required.
- Ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training.
- Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system.
- Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours.
- Good hearing for conversations, in person and on the phone.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Professional and effective communication with clients and colleagues.
- Public speaking and computer skills.
- Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, reliable transportation, clean DMV record, and successful background check. Daily or occasional travel may be required.
