Georgia-Pacific’s Corrugated Packaging division is looking for an Account Manager to support its Corrugated Sheets business. The Account Manager is responsible for identifying new opportunities and prospects for the sale of corrugated sheets in the North and Central Texas region, and for managing and profitably growing existing relationships with GP’s current customer base. This exciting position allows a self-starter to operate independently as he or she executes on the business sales strategy.
The ideal candidate will be an innovative and economic thinker with proven sales and/or account management experience.
Location:Denton, Texas; must reside in the Dallas, Fort Worth area
Travel:50% (Mostly Day Travel, with Occasional Overnights)

WhatYou Will Do
- Develop and implement value propositions that fuel the overall sales strategy for the GP Sheets business.
- Create value through increased volume, profitability, account acquisition, and innovative solutions, whileanticipatingcustomer needs and maximizing sales opportunities.
- Build andmaintainstrong relationships with decision-makers, driving growth within existing accounts and securing new business.
- Manage your time effectively to meet and exceed expectations, working autonomously towards a variety ofsales objectives.
- Partner with internal teams in production, quality,logistics, and customer service to ensuretimelyand satisfactory product delivery.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights to refine and enhance future strategies.
- Proven success in any relevant sales or account management positionor corrugated industry experience, with the skills needed for relationship-based sales.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities that make youa naturalat building andmaintainingclient relationships.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, mostly for day trips with some overnights and avalid U.S. driver’s license to keep you mobile.
- Previous experience in the corrugated packaging or converting industry.
- A bachelor’s degree or relevant technical training that keeps you on the cutting edgeof manufacturing industry trends.
