Test Tech

Responsibilities

• Must be able to perform troubleshooting, programming, and function test related tasks for all STULZ family products, while adhering to safety guidelines and industrial standard practices. Must be fluent in Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Teams. Must be able to navigate SAP, for required documentation, and have general computer skills. (file navigation and software usage)
• Demonstrates knowledge of refrigeration and electrical components, their use and the proper operation of those components.
• Must be familiar with HVAC and dehumidification systems.
• Must have knowledge of different refrigerant gasses (R-134, R407C, R410A, etc.).
• Must have industrial electrical knowledge to trouble shoot HVAC or environmental control systems.
• Work and communicate well with others with minimal supervision.
• Ability to train and lead in all areas of Test
• Other duties, as assigned.

• Ability to use all appropriate test equipment including, but not limited to meters, refrigeration gauges, etc.
• Demonstrates and coaches safe practices when dealing with electricity and pressurized systems.
• Minimum 2-5yrs related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• HVAC Type I, II & III or Universal Certification.

• Ability to read and understand English instructions.
• Ability to speak effectively with employees of organization.
• Ability to read and understand bills of material, piping and electrical schematics.

Abilty to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
