Position OverviewThe RV Technician Apprentice works alongside experienced technicians to learn how to diagnose, repair, and maintain multiple RV systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, propane, structural, and mechanical components.
This role is designed for individuals who take pride in their work and understand that quality matters
. You will be trained to diagnose problems correctly, complete repairs safely, and deliver road‑ready RVs that customers can trust. We value technicians who are detail‑oriented, accountable, and committed to getting it right the first time.

- Diagnose and repair RV systems using proper procedures and tools
- Perform repairs with a strong focus on accuracy, safety, and craftsmanship
- Communicate clearly with service advisors, teammates, and manufacturers
- Troubleshoot issues logically and efficiently
- Recondition pre‑owned RVs for resale to quality standards
- Follow safety guidelines and shop best practices
- Continue developing skills through training and certifications
- Ability (or strong desire to learn) to diagnose and repair:
- Electrical systems
- Plumbing systems
- Heating and HVAC systems
- Hydraulic systems
- Construction and carpentry skills, including water‑damage repair
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Commitment to personal improvement and skill development
- Must supply own tools appropriate to skill level
- Willingness to complete ongoing training and manufacturer education
- 2–5 years of repair or maintenance experience in one or more skilled trades preferred
- Experience in any of the following is valuable:
- Boat exteriors or interiors
- Building maintenance
- Electrical systems (high and low voltage)
- Fiberglass
- HVAC
- Plumbing
- Welding
- Trade certifications (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, etc.) are a plus
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean, insurable driving record
- Ability to provide professional references
