Irrigation Technician – Service, Repair & Install

Denton Lawn Sprinkler was established in 1975 as an irrigation company and has since expanded services to include landscaping and Christmas Lighting and is a growing leader in the commercial landscape management industry for the DFW area. We are looking for licensed qualified professional Irrigation Technicians as well as those who wish to become licensed irrigation technicians in the near future. Our company was founded on high quality performance from all our technicians and strive to maintain that professionalism.

• Inspect, adjust, and make repairs on a lawn irrigation system.
• Provide detailed invoicing to customer upon completion of each service.
• Ensure proper use, care and inventory of company vehicle, equipment and tools assigned to you.
• Maintain truck and equipment in good working condition.
• Promote and maintain safe working conditions.
• Directly supervise your team to ensure repairs be made in a timely manner.
• Addresses customer complaints and resolve any customer problems.

• A high school diploma or GED, or 1-2 years related experience and/or training.
• 1 year or more of irrigation experience or related work field preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly preferred but not required.
• Irrigation Technicians License is HIGHLY preferred but not necessary if you are currently enrolled or seeking to enroll in the required classes to receive one.

• Reading the schedule or work order to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed as needed.
• Conveys materials and items from the shop to job location, truck, or other designated areas.
• Operates and/or maintains all equipment in their division.
• Performs services in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Interacts with Team Supervisor onsite as needed to receive further direction regarding area to be serviced.
• May drive vehicle to production locations and assigned areas.
• May assist team members with assigned duties.

• A high school diploma or GED, or at least 1 year related experience and/or training
• 1 year related field experience and/or training preferred but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to work in and adapt to various landscape settings, including direct contact with various plant and weather conditions.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are HIGHLY desirable but not required.
• Operate various light equipment and hand tools.
