Plant Maintenance Technician

Pay: $30–$37/hour (Depending on Experience)

We’re seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Technician who enjoys solving problems, working with advanced manufacturing equipment, and keeping operations running at peak performance. If you have a strong mechanical background, experience troubleshooting PLCs and electrical systems, and take pride in minimizing downtime, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Plant Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our manufacturing facility operating safely and efficiently by:

Mechanical Maintenance
  • Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment including pumps, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
  • Performing preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
  • Rebuilding, replacing, and aligning mechanical components.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
Electrical & PLC Troubleshooting
  • Diagnosing and repairing motors, drives, VFDs, sensors, and control circuits.
  • Troubleshooting PLC‑controlled equipment (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, or similar).
  • Assisting with PLC programming, modifications, and equipment improvements.
  • Reading electrical schematics and ladder logic diagrams.
  • Supporting instrumentation calibration and control systems.
Operations & Safety
  • Responding quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
  • Following all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and electrical safety standards.
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability and plant performance.
  • Collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve recurring equipment issues.
What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED (technical certification or associate degree preferred).
  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • Hands‑on knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and industrial electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and on‑call when needed.
