Welder - Power Delivery in Denton

Job Summary

A full‑time welder fabricator for Denton yard must be capable of repairing equipment trailers and must weld using stick and wire feed. Experience reading blueprints and strong fabricating skills are required.

• Welds on equipment materials according to standards set for structured mild steel
• Maintains safe working practices at all times.

• Excellent oral and written communication and phone skills

• Ability to work independently as well as in field operations
• Must be organized and detail oriented
• Strong work ethic

If applicable, "light duty" may be available depending on the work location and project schedule.

This position requires a minimum of a high school degree and additional training in welding, plus 1–2 years of field construction and/or utility industry experience.

The physical, emotional and environmental demands of this position are characteristic of the construction environment. Tasks include standing, sitting, walking, lifting more than 50 pounds, reaching overhead, climbing, kneeling, exposure to extreme heat and cold, wet or humid conditions, dust, odors, and moving machinery. The position works on tight deadlines, experiences irregular activity schedules, and requires mandatory measurable performance criteria. The workday is at least 8.0 hours with mandatory breaks.
