Athletic Field Groundskeeper to assist in maintaining the grounds and facilities for the University of North Texas.

We know that the difference between feeling like a professional athlete and a high school walk-on is often the quality of the playing surface. We love nothing more than the glimmer of stadium lights on a freshly-cut, pristine natural grass playing surface.

• Prepare, maintain and restore grounds within the assigned areas or fields as directed.
• Monitor, report, and resolve any issues, problems and/or concerns in assigned work areas.
• Operate powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, sprayers and sod cutters.
• Report/address field issues such as turf stress, disease, wear areas, etc.
• Work with other grounds staff as directed and perform other duties as assigned
• Perform preventative maintenance operations on various pieces of equipment
• Possible time on nights and weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
