Position Description Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Denton, TX — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Average $1300 - $1400 per week. Pay includes weekly driver payments and potential bonuses.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday with some weekends. Start Time: 5:30 AM to 6:00 AM. Paid training provided.

• Deliver solo with an average of 250 miles per day.
• Route:
  Local home daily with possible one night out per week.
• Operate a Day Cab tractor; must be able to drive a manual transmission.
• Trailer:
  Flatbed experience preferred but training available.
• Equipment:
  Moffett/Truck Mounted Forklift.
• Freight:
  Load securement, strapping; no tarp required; touch – unload using a truck mounted forklift.
• Load and unload freight as required by customer.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical and a Ryder road test.
• Provide a valid Class A CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years, or 5 years in the last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions; ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
