Position Description

Join Ryder as a Class A CDL Truck Driver and enjoy weekly pay along with a range of excellent benefits that make your driving career enjoyable and fulfilling.

You could earn between $1365 - $1700 or more weekly, with additional perks!

• Weekly Pay for Drivers
• Hourly Rate: $23.62
• Per Diem Pay: $27.24 per night
• Hotel Accommodation Provided
• Travel Reimbursement: $0.72.5 per mile (excluding the first 50 miles each way)
• Quarterly Safety Bonus: $300 each quarter
• Potential for up to $2400 in bonuses
• Paid Training Included
• Schedule:
  
  Monday - Friday, Travel on Sundays
• Starting Time:
  Between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM

• Deliver SOLO to nearby states including TX, OKC, LA, and AR
• Enjoy Home Weekends!
• Drive a Day Cab (manual transmission required)
• Load types:
  Flatbed
• 12 months of Flatbed Experience is a requirement
• Previous experience with Truck Mounted Forklift is highly preferred
• Responsible for freight load securement - strapping duties

• Minimum age: 21 years
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Complete a background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Successfully complete a Ryder road test
• Hold the appropriate CDL and endorsements required for this position
• Verifiable Class A experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years,
  OR
• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years,
  OR
• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow both written and oral instructions
• Proficiency to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations
• Identify and mitigate safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs as required
• Load/unload freight or assist as needed by customers
• Other duties as assigned
