Class A CDL Truck Driver – Denton, TX

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Denton, TX. The position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

• Average weekly pay: $1,250 or more
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.6646 per mile (1500 miles per week)
• Solo Stops Pay: $21.79 per stop (15 stops per week)
• Up to $3,400 in annual bonuses

• Deliver solo average 250 miles per day; local home daily with possible one night out a week

  Day Cab – must be able to drive a manual

  Flatbed
• Equipment:
  Moffett/Truck Mounted Forklift
• Freight:
  Load securement with strapping, no tarping; touch loads unloaded using forklift

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass Ryder Drug Test, Background Check, DOT Physical, and Road Test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Class A verifiable experience: 9 months within past 3 years, 2 years within past 5 years, or 5 years within past 10 years
• Must be able to drive a manual tractor
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, and policies

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Loading and unloading freight, or assist in loading/unloading as required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
