Weekends Flatbed Class A Truck Driver

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Denton, TX offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a satisfying driving career.

• $1500–$1800+ per week
• Hourly pay: $23.62
• Per diem: $27.24 per night
• Safety bonus: $300 quarterly (up to $1200 per year)
• Up to $2400 in additional bonuses
• Paid training
• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday, occasional Saturday; 5:30–6:00 AM start
• Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days
• 80 hours PTO in first year (use it or get paid)

• Drive a tractor‑trailer with a Day Cab, ensuring safe and compliant operation.
• Transport flatbed loads, mainly SOLO to TX with occasional travel to OKC, LA, AR.
• Follow routes including Home Weekends.
• Maintain accurate logs and records in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Load and unload freight or assist as required by customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder drug test, background check and motor‑vehicle verification for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test.
• Provide a valid Class A CDL with endorsements.
• Class‑A experience: 9 months in past 3 years, OR 2 years in past 5 years, OR 5 years in past 10 years.
• Must have at least 12 months of flat‑bed driving experience.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions; read, interpret laws, rules, regulations, and policies.
• Experience with truck‑mounted forklift (highly preferred).

• Manual transmission proficiency.
• Experience in load securement – strapping.
