Delivery Driver III CDL Hazmat

Delivery Driver (including hazardous materials) for Sherwin‑Williams. Responsible for delivering products from shop to customers using box and flat‑bed trucks, ensuring deliveries are complete, safe, and meet customer expectations.

The role involves contact with customers, including minors, handling cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other valuable items.

• Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements efficiently.
• Load customer orders properly on the truck.
• Ensure appropriate forms are completed.
• Transport and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report repair and servicing needs.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints.
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Operate equipment and machines such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Perform other store tasks including warehouse duties, tinting, and mixing customer orders.

• At least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Valid, unrestricted Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with hazardous materials endorsement.
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) from a DOT‑licensed medical examiner or willingness to obtain one within five business days of conditional offer.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasional, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Proficient in reading and speaking English for customer interaction and official record keeping.

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience as a delivery driver.
• At least one year of experience using material‑handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, order picker, vac‑hoist, drum dolly, conveyor belt).
• Previous work experience selling paint and related products.
• Ability to communicate in more than one language.
• Proficiency in Spanish.
