What does it take to work at Safety-Kleen?

* High school diploma or GED;

* Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity;

* Ability to perform physical functions per job requirements;

* Reliable transportation required for local travel between facilities.

* Strong communication skills;

* Problem solving skills;

* Intermediate computer skills with applications such as Microsoft Office - Excel and Outlook experience required

* Ability to work with waste labels, manifests, and load sheets;

* Forklift experience required

* Experience in a warehouse environment preferred

* Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and acting in a safe manner always.

* Unload and reload route truck;

* Reload route trucks with supplies and equipment for next day's runs

* Ensures all waste and containers are in acceptable shipping condition and organized for transport to recycle or distribution centers

* Conduct inventory count and reconciliation

* Verify, receive, stock, and organize product

* Pick, package, and ship outbound orders

* Operate heavy material handling equipment such as forklift and pallet jack

* Load and unload trucks with various equipment and by hand

* Coordinate transportation for outbound shipments

* Local deliveries when needed

* Move trailers or trucks within the yard

* Housekeeping in the branch (painting, picking up trash, sweeping, cleaning, straightening)

* Assist other business units

* Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements

* Safely observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures

* Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines

* Perform other duties as assigned
