Team Lead, Warehouse

Job Description

• Responsible for leading and working with team members including assigning work, training, and reviewing quality of work
• Monitoring employee attendance and productivity, and taking steps to improve performance where necessary
• Ensure all employees are utilizing all safety precautions and maintaining safe work environment
• Communicating concerns, updates, and completion timelines (with site management and customer)

• 2 years of warehouse experience preferred
• 6 months or more of Warehouse/Distribution team lead experience
• Proficiency in MS Office Products required (Outlook, Word and Excel)
• Understanding of and experience working with Warehouse Management Systems
• Experience with basic data entry / time and attendance tracking
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written
• Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs.
• Forklift, electric pallet jack, or other warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred
• Meet/lead/inspire fast-paced productivity goals and standards
• Excellent customer service required
• Overtime/Weekends will be required during peak/seasonal volumes
• Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers)
• Standing 8 to 10 hours per day
• Effective communication skills
• Safety shoes are required
• Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Other duties as assigned

Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.00 Hourly
