Schedule:4:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., Monday-Thursday, and 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Fridays

Starting Pay:$18.50 per hour

Essential Functions

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies and perform the following essential functions of this position:

  • Receive constructive performance feedback.
  • Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
  • Obtain and sort orders by placing them on the respective pallets.
  • Load the appropriate trailer with completed orders and ensure that orders are on the truck before the designated shipping time.
  • Shrink-wrap products to pallets to secure articles for shipment.
  • Operate an electric pallet jack to move, convey, or hoist shipments from the shipping area to storage or trucks.
  • Label all shipping pallets with appropriate shipping labels.
  • Follow safety rules for personal protection and the protection of others, including maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform quality audits on shipping cartons.
  • Run and maintain the print-and-apply area.
  • Package and tape all shipping cartons.
  • Brick-stack all cartons onto the trailers.
  • Bill and provide packing slips.
  • Ensure accurate weight specifications for each outgoing carton.
