Junior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Monthly billing of all jobs (Internal and External ERP Systems).
• Review and obtain all supplier lien waivers to match billing requirements.
• Review, analyze, and post, Change Work Alerts, Change Orders, and Time and Material tickets into ERP System.
• Support project manager, project teams, accounting team, and office management with financial needs of the office as requested
• Perform weekly payroll functions
• Attend and participate in all required company training.
• Promote and support all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  2 year college associate degree
• 1 – 2 years of commercial construction experience in project accounting or project controls.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish), Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
• Knowledge of Payroll and General Ledger
• Experience with Penta and/or Textura
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, work in progress reports, operating income statements, general ledger accounts, and balance sheets.
• Knowledge of construction budgets, scheduling, and defined deadlines
• Salary Range (based on experience): $65,000 – $90,000
