Position OverviewThe Accounting Clerk is an entry level position designed for individuals who are detail oriented, dependable, and eager to build a long term career in accounting. This role provides hands on exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and core corporate accounting functions. This position is ideal for candidates seeking advancement within the Accounting Department based on performance, with clear growth opportunities into Accounting Specialist, Staff Accountant, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities Accounting Support- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
- Accurately enter invoices, payments, and journal data into accounting systems
- Support bank, credit card, and POS reconciliations
- Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
- Assist with month end close activities as assigned
- Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments
- Assist the Accounting Manager and Senior Accountants with special projects
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
- Support process improvement and documentation efforts

- High school diploma or GED required
- 02 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or office experience
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced corporate environment
- Professional communication and time management skills
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree coursework in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Experience with accounting software (Sage, Sage 50, Sage Intacct, Quick Books, Net Suite, or similar)
- Experience in a multi unit, restaurant, or retail environment
- Interest in long term career growth in accounting
- Full time, Monday through Friday; very occasional weekend work depending on deadlines
- On site corporate office environment
- Overtime eligible as required during peak accounting periods
- Hourly Pay Range: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and qualifications
- This range complies with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and reflects the expected pay for this role in the Denver Metro market.
