Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage and support the full accounts receivable cycle. This role is responsible for invoicing, collections, payment application, and maintaining accurate customer account records. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable communicating with both internal teams and external clients.

• Prepare, issue, and track customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner
• Apply incoming payments (ACH, wire, check, credit card) and reconcile customer accounts
• Monitor accounts for past-due balances and proactively follow up on outstanding invoices
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding billing questions, discrepancies, and payment status
• Regularly review AR ledger and reconcile against general ledger to ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate AR aging reports, prepare any ad-hoc reports, and assist with monthly close activities
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to resolve billing issues
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Assist with audits and provide AR-related reporting as needed
• Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the AR function
• Provide support to the accounting team by performing ad hoc tasks, including AP-related activities.

• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related accounting role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel (experience with ERP/CRM systems a plus)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Comfortable handling confidential financial information

• Experience with high-volume, high-dollar invoicing or multi-entity environments
• Familiarity with GAAP and basic accounting principles
• Experience working with remote teams or distributed clients

Salary + Bonus:
Commensurate with experience. Annual Salary plus Bonus Opportunity ranges from $75,000 to $85,000. Position includes extensive benefits including 401(k) matching, health, dental, vision and so much more.
