Accounts Payable Specialist

We are partnering with a well established oil and gas organization located in Denver, CO that is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist on a temp to hire basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, energy driven environment and wants the chance to prove themselves and convert into a long term role.

• Process high volume vendor invoices with speed and accuracy
• Perform invoice coding and ensure proper approvals are obtained
• Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation
• Research and resolve vendor discrepancies and payment issues
• Support weekly payment runs and maintain organized AP records
• Assist with reconciliations and month end close support

• At least 2 to 3 years of accounts payable experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage volume
• Bachelors or Associate is a plus not a must, experience will be considered
• Comfort working onsite and collaborating with accounting team
• Reliable, accountable, and process oriented work style

• Compensation: $25–$28 per hour
• Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday, standard business hours
• Employment Type: Temp to hire
• Start Date: ASAP
