Salary RangeHourly: $31.21 - $39.36
Biweekly: $2,496.46 - $3,148.80
Monthly: $5,409.00 - $6,822.40
- Recording and entry of cross‑functional accounting transactions
- Approve general ledger accounting and payroll activities and reconciliations for General Financial Accounting and Grant Program Accounting, including cash, federal, and state grants
- Review and create journal entries
- Coordinate and correct CDLE quarterly and year‑end diagnostic reporting to the State Controller’s Office
- Manage and maintain CDLE’s fixed assets and capital assets, and process related entries
- Process general accounting and some grant program expenditure, revenue, asset and liability accounts
- Reallocate shared and direct costs to various CDLE divisions
- General entry or approval of ITI/ITA transactions
- Compile and submit monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
- Support divisions and offices with general accounting, budget, procurement, payroll, bank and grant program accounting needs
- Monitor and report general accounting and grant program fund allocations for decision making
- Ensure conformance with all applicable federal, state, and local rules and regulations
- Process lease payments, encumbrance modification and procurement contracting services support
- Perform accounting for state and federal fiscal year‑end closing activities and audits
- Maintain fixed asset accounting with depreciation, additions, deletions, and related schedules
- Provide written checklists, policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Minimum Qualifications- Six (6) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position
- OR a combination of related education (27 semester hours in accounting or auditing) and relevant experience amounting to six (6) years
- Current, valid licensure as a CPA by the Colorado Board of Accountancy will count for six (6) years
