Staff Accountant

Century Group is in search of an experienced staff level candidate to join a construction client of ours in the Denver metro area. This team is looking for somebody who enjoys fast paced environments and streamlining processes. Qualified candidates with 1+ years of accounting experience are encouraged to apply. Local candidates only. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.

Expected starting base salary $60,000 to 75,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Month end help
• Bank reconciliations
• Journal entries
• Preparation of invoices
• Processing credit applications
• Process all payments using various pay services
• Reconcile all payments with account
• Make collection calls on delinquent accounts

Requirements:

• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Able to adapt to changing priorities
