We are currently seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced Senior Auditor to join our dynamic team in the Accounting and Finance industry. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to utilize and further develop your accounting, auditing, and financial analysis skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conducting complex audits, preparing and presenting audit findings, and providing recommendations for process improvement.
This role requires a high level of integrity, the ability to handle confidential information, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and perform financial, operational, and compliance audits in accordance with the annual audit plan.
2. Prepare detailed audit reports, including a clear and concise description of audit findings, associated risks, and recommendations for improvement.
3. Supervise junior auditors, including reviewing their work for accuracy and completeness.
4. Collaborate with management to develop practical solutions to address audit findings and enhance internal controls.
5. Stay updated on changes in regulations, accounting standards, and industry practices that may impact the audit function.
6. Assist in the development of the annual audit plan based on risk assessment.
7. Engage in special projects and investigations as required.
8. Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management’s interventions.
9. Foster positive relationships with auditees and ensure a thorough understanding of the audit process.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably within the Accounting and Finance industry.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), auditing standards, and financial regulations.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial personnel.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
8.
Experience with accounting software and financial systems.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
10. High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential information.
11. Willingness to travel as needed to conduct audits at various company locations.
