Century Group is seeking an experienced Accounting Consultant for a short-term, fully remote project that is expected to last for a few weeks. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Quick Books and a strong background in accounting systems and process improvement. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $45.00 to $55.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:

Review, streamline, and enhance existing accounting processes to improve efficiency.
Clean up and organize Quick Books accounts to ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting.
Identify operational inefficiencies and provide recommendations for best practices in accounting workflows.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement process changes effectively and timely.
Create and share documentation for the future maintenance of updated systems.

Requirements:

Demonstrate proven experience using Quick Books (Online and/or Desktop versions).
Have 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a consulting or project-focused role.
Exhibit strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
Show the ability to work independently, quickly assess workflows, and drive operational improvements.
Possess excellent communication and organizational skills for effective collaboration.

Qualifications:

Display a proactive attitude toward identifying and solving accounting challenges.
Exhibit expertise in financial systems and reporting tools to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Maintain a professional approach to working collaboratively with teams and clients.
