Job Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end close processes and reconcile various balance sheet accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
- Review monthly financial statements, job cost reports, and status reports to support financial decision-making.
- Serve as an accounting resource for the Accounts Payable team by providing guidance and support.
- Help develop and document accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Gain experience in supporting different areas within the accounting department and contribute to cross-functional projects.
- A bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Demonstrate self-motivation with the ability to take ownership of projects while aligning with team objectives.
- Apply strong analytical skills to work independently and develop effective solutions.
- Maintain a high level of detail orientation, ensuring accuracy in identifying and correcting errors.
- Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel at an intermediate level to support daily accounting tasks.
- Develop excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Enjoy working on a variety of tasks and challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Gain proficiency in Microsoft D354 Finance & Operations or other accounting and ERP software.
- Exhibit a strong problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to new challenges.
- Possess a collaborative approach, contributing to team success while working independently.
