Job Responsibilities:
- Perform general ledger accounting by preparing journal entries, completing account reconciliations, and supporting month end and year end close activities.
- Assist with preparing financial statements to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Support audit readiness by maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance with accounting requirements.
- Collaborate with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams to ensure accurate transaction postings.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy across accounting workflows.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills in all accounting activities.
- Communicate clearly with leadership and cross functional teams while supporting special projects.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills and accounting software to complete daily and monthly tasks.
- Adapt effectively to a growth oriented environment and handle shifting priorities with professionalism.
- Apply strong problem solving abilities to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 4+ years of accounting experience, including general ledger work, reconciliations, and month end close.
- Use Net Suite or similar ERP systems to support accounting operations.
- Understand GAAP principles thoroughly and apply them consistently in day to day work.
- Leverage CPA certification, CPA eligibility, or audit experience as a preferred qualification.
