Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounting tasks related to construction revenue recognition, job costs, and work-in-progress reconciliation.
- Manage departmental activities, ensuring accountability and efficient coordination of tasks.
- Act as the primary point of contact for daily accounting issues within the team.
- Compute and review month-end reconciliations and journal entries across various departments and systems.
- Review financial reports, tax returns, and other required documents on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Have 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in construction.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and ERP systems.
- Show strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Have experience with accounting software such as Net Suite, CMiC, and Oracle Cloud.
- Exhibit excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Communicate effectively with professionals at all levels within the organization.
- Work independently and take initiative to resolve accounting challenges.
- Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance overall efficiency.
