One of our best sports management clients in downtown Denver is looking for an Accounting Manager on a hybrid basis to manage a small team. Open to a strong Senior Accountant looking for the next step. This position will be an integral part of the team and help ensure that the month-end close process is efficient and effective. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.

Expected starting base salary $85,000 to $95,000 per year.

Job Description:

Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements and management reports for all assigned entities.
Participate in preparation and coordination of the annual audit for all entities.
Prepare and analyze monthly journal entries and reports. Review journal entries and monthly reporting for other entities as assigned.
Record and review financial transactions necessary to produce internal and external financial statements.
Review account reconciliations and research reconciling items timely.

Requirements:

Excellent systems aptitude and strong analytical skills.
General ledger knowledge and financial analysis skills a must.
Excels in a time-sensitive, deadline driven environment with the ability to prioritize and keep a positive attitude.
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office software programs with advanced Excel skills.

Experience:

Degree in Accounting
3-5 years of demonstrated accounting experience
Microsoft Dynamics a plus
