Staff Accountant

Our client is a growing owner-operator and developer of restaurants and commercial real estate. They are seeking a detail-oriented AR/AP Accountant to join their team in a fully onsite role. This position will play a key part in supporting accounting operations across multiple restaurant and real estate entities.

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely
• Manage approval workflows and coding to appropriate GL accounts
• Prepare and execute weekly check runs and ACH payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain organized AP files and documentation

• Manage tenant billing and collections
• Post customer payments and maintain accurate AR aging
• Follow up on outstanding balances
• Reconcile AR subledger to general ledger

• Assist with month-end close procedures
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Support intercompany transactions
• Assist with audit and tax documentation requests
• Maintain strong internal controls and accounting accuracy

• 2+ years of AR/AP or general accounting experience
• Experience in restaurant, hospitality, retail, or real estate preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP fundamentals
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work fully onsite
• Base Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
