Ecommerce Accountant

Our client is a growing online retail and distribution company operating multiple entities across e-commerce platforms. With strong sales growth and expanding product lines, they are looking for a detail‑oriented, proactive accountant who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys working with both numbers and people.

The accountant will be responsible for managing accounting functions across multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, reconciling sales and inventory, and supporting month‑end close processes. This role requires strong experience with Quick Books Online and Shopify, particularly in reconciling e‑commerce sales and inventory data. • Manage full‑cycle accounting for multiple entities
• Perform monthly bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
• Reconcile Shopify sales, payment processors, and Quick Books Online
• Analyze and reconcile inventory, COGS, and related adjustments
• Ensure accurate tracking of inventory across systems
• Help to prepare and review monthly financial statements
• Assist with intercompany transactions and consolidations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Work cross‑functionally with operations and fulfillment teams
• Assist with year‑end processes and external accountants as needed

• 3+ years of accounting experience (e‑commerce or retail preferred)
• Strong proficiency in Quick Books Online
• Experience working with Shopify and reconciling e‑commerce sales
• Solid understanding of inventory accounting and analysis
• Experience managing multiple entities is strongly preferred
• Strong Excel skills
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, team‑oriented attitude
