Interim Senior Accountant

We’re partnering with a high-growth, multi-brand consumer products company seeking an Interim Senior Accountant to step in and stabilize accounting operations while the team continues to grow and stabilize.

This is a hands‑on role supporting a specific brand while working closely across entities on intercompany activity. The environment is fast‑moving and occasionally messy — ideal for someone who enjoys diving in, asking the right questions, and leaving things cleaner than they found them.

• Own day-to-day GL accounting for a designated brand, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close activities
• Support revenue accounting processes and operating expense tracking
• Assist with sales tax filings and other state requirements
• Calculate and review sales commissions, partnering with stakeholders to ensure accuracy
• Navigate and help untangle intercompany transactions across multiple brands
• Work within a mixed‑system environment (Net Suite and Quick Books)
• Interface with AP workflows (exception handling and close support, not high‑volume processing)
• Contribute to close documentation and ensure clear, audit‑ready reconciliations with thoughtful explanations
• Identify issues proactively and take the next step when something looks off

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong GL accounting foundation
• Exposure to intercompany accounting in a multi‑entity environment, including reconciling balances and supporting eliminations between related entities
• High attention to detail with excellent documentation discipline
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, standard formulas)

• Experience with Net Suite and/or Quick Books
• Exposure to inventory accounting (vendor purchasing and resale; not highly complex)
• Public accounting background
• Interest in using AI tools to improve or streamline accounting processes
