POSITION OVERVIEW

The Accounting Manager is a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. ESSENTIAL

FUNCTIONS
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including accountants, bookkeepers, and clerks.
  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback.
  • Lead and motivate the team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals.
  • Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Manage month‑end and year‑end closing procedures.
  • Participate in payroll processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Coordinate and support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance team environment.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision‑making.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing processes.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and safeguard company assets.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven work experience as an Accounting Manager
  • Strong written and oral communication; strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts, and using advanced formulas)
  • Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws and regulations
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self‑motivated, takes initiative, can work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong orientation to deadline and detail
  • Ability to work in a continuously changing environment, flexible
  • Curiosity and a passion for learning
  • Team management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • Accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Quick Books Online

PAY & BENEFITS

$80,000 - $90,000 per year
