We are partnering with a growing, well-established organization in the Denver area to identify a Senior Accountant to join their team. Key Responsibilities- Own and support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
, ensuring accuracy and timeliness - Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Analyze financial results and provide variance explanations to leadership
- Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reporting
- Partner cross-functionally with teams including operations, FP&A, and leadership
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Maintain and enhance internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Assist with external audits and coordinate requests with auditors
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and system enhancements
- Mentor or support junior accounting staff as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience (public accounting or industry)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting processes
- Experience managing month-end close and reconciliations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
- Experience with ERP systems (Net Suite, Oracle, SAP, etc.) preferred
- CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred but not required
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000 – $105,000 annually
, depending on experience, skill set, and overall qualifications.
